Artist And Artisans Wine And Cheese Mixer Sept. 22nd.
Express Center will be hosting a Wine and Cheese Mixer geared toward introducing local creative types to each other. Since opening the store, we have been meeting lots of local writers, illustrators, graphic artist, crafts people, and generally all sorts of creative types.
We want to provide an opportunity for this pool of local creative types to get to know each other, and create a fertile enviornment for them to collaborate and connect.
This event is intended to be a resouce for getting people back to work, by helping creative types to figure out how to make money by following thier passions.
Do what you love, and find others who can help you to do that!

New Featured Artist: DAVINA
Express Center is pleased to announce that we have a new Featured Artist! Davina is a wonderful local artist in the Golden Hill neighborhood. You may have already seen her work at the Golden Hill Farmers Market where she has a booth on Saturdays.
UPS CURBSIDE DROP BOX NOW AVAILABLE
UPS Drop Box available for 24 hour use.With the addition of our new UPS Curbside Drop Box, Express Center, can now help you with shipping through all of the major carriers.
You can drop packages off 24 hours a day, and they will be picked by 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Grand Opening
Express Center had its Grand Opening on Saturday November, 27th 2010. That just happened to also be Small Business Saturday.
Mixing It Up With The Local Community
Express Center is happy to announce that we will be hosting the September mixer for the GGHCDC, on Wednesday the 22nd. Grab a stack of business cards and come down to the Express Center to mix, mingle, and network with the local business community.

First Featured Artist: Bryen Beglinger

Bryen is a local artist that has been getting a lot of attention in San Diego recently. His style could be called “Pop Art, of Pop Art Culture,” as he takes familiar images of Pop Culture icons, and electrifies them with a sense of color that reminds of Warhol.
His art is fun and interactive. As observers attempt to identify the images that they recognize to be iconic, they often have to work together, to identify the person by name. His shows often turn into a game of “can you name them all.”
Bryen's work has been showing at many local restaurants, lounges, and shops, and his work was featured on the cover of City Beat magazine last year.
Bryen Beglinger's series “Pop Culture: Hero and Icons” will begin showing August 2010.
